Perception

Perception is an important thing in life. Perception might be the very tool one can use to create and destroy life.

I think that in life, how you take things in and how you dish things out, make all the difference in the world. Easier said than done, I know but what if we could simply deal with the first part only? What if we grabbed hold of the control for how to take things in?

Anything and everything that others do or say is a reflection of their own being; their own persona. Think about it… how many times have you had things in your head and snapped at others, when they had nothing to do with your worries? That is exactly how we all move around in this world. We are all reacting and reflecting our own being.

Events do not matter in themselves… our perception to them is what matters. The use of the word matters, is a very realistic one. Your perception of any situation creates; makes matter; makes reality to what comes after the perception.

What people say or do, even onto us personally, does not matter. We have no control whatsoever what people think of us. However, we do have control of the energy or perception we give-out from ourselves.

Create your own rules. Trust your inner self, your true self. You are bright enough; smart enough; intelligent enough to do so. Build your own philosophy on what is good and what is not. On what is proper and what is not. On what is truly good for you and what is not. Do not live in a fairytale, live wide awake and enjoying every bit of it. When you drift asleep, simply nudge yourself and live on.

We all have a need for purpose. We all have a need to live happy and enjoy life to its fullest. But we simply don’t act on those needs…

I truly enjoy having a life conversation with anyone, whether relative, friend, stranger or other. In teaching what you cannot teach, you learn; you grow; you acquire wisdom from within. When people see something in me that is awesome, it is not me at all… it is themselves they see in me, it is those pieces of them that they have kept quiet for too long. I concern myself with what is common to all of us; all of humanity. Whether you was born in Cuba or India, you can relate to me; you can see you in me. I would love to beat my chest and claim that I am smarter or more intelligent than the next man, but the truth is that I am the next man, I am you, you are me, we are all part of this beautiful thing, this very intelligent thing, this most amazing thing…

If dishing things out is what matters in this world, then maybe… just maybe, how I take things in; my perception of events, might prove to be a crucial and powerful tool.
