Life is a funny thing

Life is a funny thing. Ups downs sideways, simple, complexed, joyous and painful.

How we see life makes all the difference.

What analogy do you have about life? Life is a game, war, awful, unfair, amazing, beautiful, a gift?

Ponder the above…

How you speak to yourself is extremely important. I dare say it is the base of your life.

You are a conditioned being. It’s not a bad thing. It just is. You don’t breathe, it just happens. I’m for one grateful that beating my heart just happens.

Now as adults that understand critical thinking and we’ve found ourselves a bit, we have to recondition ourselves.

We need to retrain ourselves, create new habits and actions in order for us to take control of ourselves.

Autopilot might have gotten us here but it is definitely not what’s going to get us to the next level.

I never took care of my mind, body or spirit growing up in this journey we call life.

As a grown adult with three sons and a grandson, I felt I needed to recreate myself. Thankfully this new found passion began roughly around 15 years ago with the thoughts (non action) about four years prior.

Life is a funny thing.

The best answer for the meaning of life I got from my son. What’s the meaning of life baby? “To live dad”.

I be damn, the action form of life IS living or to live. Not to remain on autopilot but to live.

I’ve found that staying inspired keeps me “awake”.

There’s an endless amount of tools, practices and strategies to stay aware and live life awake. However they’ll only work if you watch how you speak to yourself, how you view this world and how much action you take on a daily.

Create new rituals, new habits,be wary of the content you allow in your mind.

Take the wheel, I believe in you!
