Self Mastery

Dedication
Determination
Commitment

A great place to get this kind of experience is running.

Running SUCKS!

We must suffer in order to grow. We tell the mind who’s boss here. The mind wants to quit, give up, go take a nap. But we tell the body “Not today!”

In running we really get to see how much more the body has in the tank. Challenge yourself with running. Getting faster is cool, however the miles is what I  want and personally enjoy.

Run! Run until you can’t no more, then run four more miles.

Take running serious, dedicate time to it. Right now I’m working quite a bit but manage to find an hour a day to get a run in.

You don’t always need to have a goal in mind but doing so helps.

Commit to a number and hold yourself painfully accountable and determined to reaching it.

Don’t fail. Nevertheless, if you’re failing a lot, it means you’re trying your ass off.

There is a lot of self mastery that goes on in running if you let it happen.

Get addicted to the feeling you get when you complete a challenging run, or any run for that matter.

The Dedication, Determination, and Commitment that it takes to be a regular runner are immense.

Today I have ran the last two weeks without skipping a day = 60+ miles. My legs hurt bad! But I can’t wait to wake up tomorrow and get some work in before work.

Nothing good happens without hard work
