No More Zero Days

I heard someone talk about no zero days. I never heard that term but I got it immediately. A zero day is a day you do zero towards your goals, dreams, and wishes for your life.

How are we okay wasting a day of our lives?

Admittedly, I’ve had many zero days in my life. I’ve had days that I didn’t do a single thing towards my goals, dreams, and wishes.

I now look back and I cannot find one single reason, excuse, or explanation as to how having a zero day was beneficial. How can I ever be proud of myself for having a zero day? How is a day as such, worth it?

I often remind my son’s to do things that’ll make them proud of themselves.

I’m not saying we need to go all in 100% each and every day. Maybe today all I do is read five pages of a nonfiction book that may help my mindset to achieve my goals in life or at least aid me in becoming 1% of a better version of myself.

The number one thing the elderly usually do on their death beds is to regret. I want better for myself. I don’t need perfection, I need better for my life.

Choose to be better. Choose at least one of the following each day.

Today I will workout.
Today I will run.
Today I will walk.
Today I will read ten pages of a nonfiction book.
Today I will spend an hour learning a new skill.
Today I will spend an hour refining an old skill.
Today I will spend an hour meditating.
Today I will spend an hour praying.
Today I will spend time with a community or group that will entice me to become better.
Today I will do my best in everything I do.
Today I will spend an hour being completely grateful.

The list is immense as to what we can do in order never to have a zero day.

NO ZERO DAYS!

  1. No more zero days!

Each day should move us closer to our goal, even if only by one step 🚶‍♀️

As they say, a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

    Excellent post 👌👏
