My Latest Book

“If I Know Better, Why Am I Not Doing Better? Cracking the Autopilot Code” is a project born from deeply personal reasons, not the least of which is the title itself— one of my year-long mantras aiding me in self-discovery. It is also driven by reasons that have guided me over the past two-plus decades:

  1. Legacy for My Sons: The primary motivation behind this collection of essays is to leave my three sons a timeless gift— a compilation of undying conversations with their father. Through these writings, I aim to provide them with a connection to my thoughts, experiences, and reflections, offering a lasting legacy that transcends my own existence.
  2. Coping and Personal Growth: Writing has been my therapeutic outlet, a way to cope with life’s challenges, reflect on my journey, and foster personal growth. The act of putting pen to paper allowed me to navigate the complexities of life, transforming my experiences into valuable lessons that extend beyond the pages of the book.
  3. Wisdom Extraction and Transformation: “If I Know Better, Why Am I Not Doing Better?” isn’t merely a compilation of musings; it’s a deliberate effort to extract wisdom from the diverse fabric of life. My aim is to encourage readers to go beyond contemplation, inspiring them to transform this wisdom into tangible results in their own lives.
  4. Conversational and Emotional Style: I intentionally chose a conversational, emotional, and poetic style. I wanted the book to resonate with readers on a personal level, evoking emotions and fostering a sense of connection. This writing style enhances the relatability of the discussions, making the wisdom more accessible and impactful.
  5. Multidimensional Life Perspective: Life is multifaceted, and I wanted to convey that through my writings. I encourage readers to embrace contradictions and learn from all sides, even when extremes seem at odds. Each facet of life holds valuable lessons, and I aim to explore and share those insights.
  6. Transformation into Results: Beyond imparting wisdom, my ultimate goal is to motivate readers to take action. I want individuals to relate to the discussions, extract valuable insights, and translate them into undeniable, incredible, and sometimes unreasonable results in their own lives.
  7. Accessible to All: I believe in the inclusivity of wisdom. Making my writings accessible to anyone reflects my vision of empowering individuals from all walks of life. I want to share the tools for self-reflection and transformation with as many people as possible, allowing them to make their lives matter.

In essence, “If I Know Better, Why Am I Not Doing Better? Cracking the Autopilot Code” is my journey encapsulated in words—a tapestry of wisdom, emotion, and personal growth that I hope will resonate with my sons and anyone else seeking inspiration and transformation.
