Life doesn’t get easier

I hear folks telling others (usually younger) that things get easier.

I dare say they don’t. I believe we get better at dealing with the situations thrown at us.

I believe we set ourselves up in a position where what gets thrown at us doesn’t destroy us… Most of the time.

To tell our youth that life gets easier might not be as accurate as we like to believe.

Don’t we deal with more deaths, divorce, financial burdens as we get older? So why do we say it gets easier?

We need to help them understand that they need to be logical and work towards being able to absorb the hits life so dearly hits us with.

Evolving to this level is more like working out than an awakening.

You don’t work out for a month and expect to stay in shape the rest of your life. We must do our best on a daily, strive to set your self up.

Live a daily life that enables you to sleep good at night.

Put in a good days worth of work, everyday.

Never hit the snooze.

Condition yourself to be positive.

Work on yourself daily.

Create new rituals in your daily life.

Breathe deeply.

Work out.

Life may throw us some curves at times but it is our responsibility to deal with it and move forward.

Cheers

  1. Well said, Dear Brother. Seek to acquire the tools needed to deal what life throws out ways. I would add that not all that life throw us should be interpreted as hardship. Let’s look at it as an opportunity to learn and grow.

    1. Thank you big brother. You make an important point. Many of life’s hits are definitely meant to help us grow and they should be viewed as opportunities. Nevertheless we need to be ready to deal with them all
