About the author
A 45 year old who's had the opportunity to live and learn many lessons in his journey. He's had some very challenging events in his years yet he's managed to create a life he can be proud of, full of joy, service, discipline and love. Jimmy calls earth his hometown as he has lived in six different states. Jimmy has a beautiful wife and three boys which have all done their own part in the inspiration for this lovely short story which delivers some amazing lessons from what may seem like a higher consciousness.
Jimmy is absolutely obsessed with becoming the best version of himself that he can be. Growing up on the wrong side of the tracks and having had many bad habits, you would never guess it. Jimmy has zero bad habits, he doesn't drink, he hasn't ate meat in over a decade yet he stands at 6'5" nearly 275 lbs and you can find him signing up for an ultra run, in the gym or going for a jog with his son's.
Jimmy finds mentoring his sons and everyone else the most fulfilling aspect of his daily intentions. Although this book is not necessarily a memoir of his life, you'll definitely notice some resemblance to jimmy in Adam.
Book description
This story originated some fifteen years ago as an example of how a group could create a story about the beginning of humankind. Almost two decades later it became a bedtime story for my sons in order to teach them to be grateful for the gift of life and to make sure they appreciate every single gift they possess.
Seeing their reaction inspired me to extend the story from an atom having a conversation with his boss (or God), to Adam being born into this beautiful world without any memory of the conversation with his boss.
Adams' life is described through the decade points of his life. Through the feelings of loss, confusion, desperation and frustration Adam reaches out for a higher power and what a beautiful interaction it becomes.
The story is great for any age group. Sharing Adam's journey you'll be able to relate, find useful life advice not to mention the fact that you'll enjoy the cute and sometimes witty interactions Adam has with his higher consciousness or God or a higher power. You make it what you make it, just don't miss the lessons.
