What is Prayer?

I believe prayer is alignment before it is request.

I believe true prayer softens the heart, renews the mind, and awakens compassion.

I believe prayer tunes the soul toward truth, love, wisdom, and surrender.

I believe in stillness, the spirit within us becomes receptive to the Spirit beyond us.

And through prayer, we become participants in divine life rather than merely observers of it.
