What is Sanctification?

I believe sanctification is the sacred unfolding of the soul toward God.
Not the polishing of appearances, but the transformation of the heart.

I believe holiness is not separation from humanity,
but union with divine love within it.

I believe the Spirit works quietly,
refining thought, desire, speech, and action,
until the image of God shines through the human soul.

I believe surrender is greater than striving,
and inward truth greater than outward performance.

I believe sanctification is the death of fear, pride, and false identity,
and the awakening of compassion, purity, courage, and peace.

I believe every act of forgiveness, humility, mercy, and love
participates in the life of God.

I believe transformation is both instant and lifelong,
a mystery unfolding day by day.

I believe the purpose of sanctification
is not merely to make us religious,
but to make us whole.

And I believe the final work of holiness
is perfect union with divine love.
