What to do when you don’t feel like giving 100%

In life we all know that we must work really hard for a really long time in order to achieve any kind of success in all our endeavors.

Although many times we put in 100% from the beginning of the day until wend of the day there are times when we just don’t feel like it.

They’re times when we’re wore out, tired, hurting and just can’t seem to put in the 100% we wish we could put in.

Sometimes we’re mentally drained, physically fatigued and just can’t seem to push through like we’d like to.

Some days life hits us in the blind side and we just can’t take it. Sometimes life is just unfair.

So what do we do when we just don’t feel like giving our 100%?

We do it anyway. We bring it. We push through. We stay the course. We do our best.

Life doesn’t warn you before it hits you so just get used to pushing through no matter what happens. Stay consistent.

I don’t want to pay my bills only sometimes. I don’t want to be blessed only sometimes. I don’t want to provide for my family sometimes. So why do I think I can give it 100% only sometimes?

Someone asked Eric Thomas what does he do when he doesn’t feel like working hard and I loved his answer. He replied with “I never not feel like giving my wife a great life, I never not feel like taking care of my daughter.”

I can definitely relate to that.

I always feel like giving my wife and kids the best life possible.

I always feel like being healthy.

I always feel like being debt free.

I always feel like thriving through life.

I always feel like giving my 110%.

If I had to reveal the secret to success in one word I would have to say it’s Effort.

We don’t get to maximum effort by not giving our 100% everyday.

Effort is King
Consistency is Queen

So the next time you don’t feel like it, bring it with maximum effort anyway

Love y’all!

  1. Excellent reminder. Life doesn’t care if you don’t feel like it. Life doesn’t turn out the way you plan it some times; so learn, adjust and try harder. Life is unfair a lot of times, so what. Deal with it! Get on with it. Keep a perspective on all of the blessings life has given you, be grateful, and keep pushing.

    Thanks again.
